Attachment Disorders: Implications for Child Welfare Practice

Sonia Russell, Clinical Psychologist M.A.Ps.S. is currently working at Canterbury Family Centre. Previously she worked for a number of years with Orana Family Services and offered consultation to a number of other residential children’s services, foster care and adoption programs. She has also worked at Travancore and the Mental Health Research Institute. She has had a special interest in children with attachment disorders and has worked in individual therapy and in implementing behavioural programs for many such children.
