Sister Agatha was appointed to Director of St. Catherine's in 1972 following twelve months overseas study as a Churchill Scholar.
Her study focused oh alternative types of care for children and she was the prime mover behind the re-evaluation of the St. Catherine's program of which the new Treatment — Rehabilitation complex is a part.
