Dr Michelle Meyer is President of a newly established Safeguarding Unit in the Jewish Community, Maoz (Hebrew for a place of safety). Dr Meyer was the former CEO of Tzedek, a support service for survivors of institutional and intrafamilial sexual abuse in the Jewish community. Other areas of practice experience include Family Law, Child Inclusive Mediation and Restorative Practice.

Rachel is social work trained and has extensive safeguarding experience across several sectors, from Salvation Army, the AFL, Sports Integrity and currently as Director of Safeguarding with the Catholic Archdiocese. Rachel has also worked as a safeguarding consultant in the Jewish community and is a consultant to Maoz.
