Dr Derek Toomey
Dr Toomey has worked for many years in British and Australian University Schools of Education. He has an MA and PhD in Sociology, and has had a long standing interest in educational inequality and in family influences on children's learning. He is currently doing research in intergenerational family literacy and is especially interested in the benefits of cross sectoral cooperation.
